Professor Dean Billmeyer's Recital at Sacred Heart Music Center and More
Dean Billmeyer (organ) will perform works of J. S. Bach, César Franck, Jean-Antoine Blanc, and Louis Vierne on the historic Felgemaker organ at the Second Saturdays Organ Recital at Sacred Heart Music Center (201 W. Fourth Street, Duluth) on Saturday, June 8 at 2 pm. Billmeyer recently returned from a two-week concert tour in Germany, where he performed on historic organs in Leipzig and in Freiberg (Saxony). Billmeyer also led a workshop and master class on Bach and Karl Straube for students at the Felix Mendelssohn Mendelssohn-Bartholdy Hochschule für Musik in Leipzig.
