School of Music Students Win Prizes in 2018 MNSOTA Mary West Competition
Congratulations to the following students who were winners of the 2018 Mary West Solo Competition. The judges were Jean De Vere, Evelina Chow, Käthe Jarka, and Paul Ousley.
The following performers will appear on the Mary West Winners’ Recital on Sunday, November 11 at 7 pm at Lloyd Ultan Recital Hall at the University of Minnesota School of Music. Learn more about this competition.

Catherine Carson (violin, Bravo! alumna, student of Sally O’Reilly)
Carson won $250 from Claire Givens Violins and a Concerto Performance with the Bloomington, MN Symphony on February 24, 2019.
