Lars Christensen's (PhD, musicology/ethnomusicology, advisee of Gabriela Currie) essay "Imag(in)ing Musical Instruments: Prescriptive and Descriptive Iconography in the Northern Song Dynasty" was published in Volume 43 of Music in Art, a multidisciplinary peer-reviewed journal devoted to the study of visual sources of music from antiquity to the present.
