Minor: Psychology

What is your favorite class that you took in CLA? Is there a professor that you particularly enjoyed working with? How did they prepare you for the next phase of your life?

My favorite class was ENGL 3506 - Social Movements and Community Education with Eric Daigre. Being able to participate in community-engaged learning was such an invaluable experience. I learned so much in that class and it was really great to get actual experience. Eric is also one of the best professors ever. He cares so much about each student and is so passionate about the work that he does.

How would you describe your time in your major?

My time in my major was definitely unique. I initially came to the U as a neuroscience major and it took me until my second semester of sophomore year to realize it wasn't for me. That being said, having that experience made me appreciate the time I did have in my major a lot more. I love what I do and I enjoyed all of my classes so much.

If you could go back and give your first-year self one piece of advice, what would it be?

It's okay to not be sure about the future. It's okay to change your plans. Not everything has to be planned out to a “t” and it's okay if things change. Change is not bad.

If you could be any member on a TV show, who would you be?

If I could be in a TV show, I would love to be in Anne with an E. I think that show is so amazing and it covers such important topics. I'm still mad that it got canceled! I also just love the cottagecore vibes and how Romantic it feels.

What's next for you? What are your post-graduation plans?

I will be attending the U for graduate school! I have been admitted to the ILP/MEd program for English Education where I can study to become an English literature teacher.
