Outreach & Resources

We offer programming with the community, and build connections with Premodern scholars around the world.

Outreach

The Center for Premodern Studies wants to share the excitement of Premodern Studies with everyone. Many of our events are open to the public and also allow for virtual participation. Our Medieval Books in the Schools K-12 program encourages new engagement with books as a text technology through historical study and hands-on book-making. Virtual resources are now available for instructors outside the Twin Cities to implement this program in their classrooms. You can listen in on The Premodern Podcast–a cabinet of curiosities for the ears where scholars, librarians, and curators share thematic adventures in the historical humanities. Stay up to date on all the latest news and activities by joining our mailing list or following us on social media.
