Spanish and Portuguese Undergraduate Major wins Fulbright Research Award

Tate Sheppard, an honors undergraduate senior majoring in Spanish and Portuguese as well as Theatre Studies, has been offered a Fulbright Program Research Award. He will study the impact of the recently enacted 2002 Fomento ao Teatro law on the development of theatre to reach nontraditional audiences in São Paulo, Brazil. His research will begin in March of 2019.
