We are happy to introduce Eugenie Ngandjeu Nya, who joined the school as a teaching specialist in the fall.

Eugenie is originally from Cameroon where she obtained a master’s degree in mathematics and a teaching diploma for secondary and high school education from the University of Yaoundé I. She then moved to Canada where she earned a master’s degree in financial engineering at HEC Montréal, the business school of the Université de Montréal. In the past 15 years, Eugenie had the opportunity to teach in several colleges and universities from two different continents–Africa and North America–including the Southern Alberta Institute of Technology (SAIT), University of Calgary, University of Minnesota (Duluth), and the University of Yaoundé I.

Besides teaching, Eugenie enjoys taking care of her family, hiking, gardening, and watching her three children play soccer games with her husband. She lives in Woodbury and is happy to be part of the University of Minnesota, which she describes as an "amazing community."
