Statisticians Recognized at Inaugural Alumni Awards Presentation
Four past students were recognized at the inaugural School of Statistics Alumni Awards presentation in October of 2022, highlighting diverse talents and achievements in research and scholarship, professional leadership, humanitarian efforts, and community-mindedness. Alumni Award Winners
Alumna Dr. Lindsey Dietz (PhD, ‘16) has received several awards and recognitions in recent years for her work at Federal Reserve Bank of Minneapolis and her professional endeavors in the community. With us, she sheds light on how she became a statistician in the first place and reveals the activities that keep her engaged outside of work.
Alumnus Dr. Joseph G. Ibrahim (PhD, ‘88) loves academia, has a passion for collaborative learning, and is motivated to provide teaching and mentoring experiences that are inspired by his own graduate school experience.
