Barbara Barker Center for Dance
The Barbara Barker Center for Dance is a dance-dedicated facility with light-filled spaces and sweeping architecture. Built with the University's Dance program in mind, the building's striking design brings inspiration to everything that goes on within its walls. The building houses professional-quality dance studios with sprung floors, a classroom space, and a fully-equipped, versatile black box performance space with retractable seating for 100. The Barker Center is the nucleus for dance on campus and the hub for movement research and discovery in the Twin Cities dance community.
