Christine Esterl (MFA)

 

Christine Esterl graduated with a bachelor’s degree from Hamline University in Saint Paul, MN in Theatre Arts with minors in Mathematics and Management in 2007.  After graduating, she worked for Penumbra Theatre in Saint Paul as Assistant Technical Director for 8 years.  During her time there, the Penumbra scene shop built shows for many theaters including Theater Latte Da, Ordway Center for the Performing Arts, Abbey Theatre (Dublin), and Opera Omaha.  Christine was also the Technical Director for two shows per season at the Academy of Holy Angels in Richfield, MN from 2007 to 2015.  Currently, she is the Technical Director at Carleton College in Northfield, MN and supervises close to 30 student employees.
