As Jennifer Hammer transitions to a new role with the Institute of Global Studies at the University of Minnesota, the Center for Austrian Studies would like to thank her for her work with CAS over the past six years.

Jennifer began with the Center for Austrian Studies in 2015. Since then, she has overseen a vast spectrum of projects at the Center. From our public-facing lectures and seminars to more behind-the-scenes work like the CAS website redesign, handling budgetary matters and communications, designing marketing materials, proofing Center publications, Jennifer was central to our work.

Splitting her time between the Center for Holocaust and Genocide Studies and CAS, Jennifer was crucial in facilitating events between the two Centers and adept at juggling both busy schedules. Large and excited audiences always greeted our programming, and she brought her indelible touch to the job. Jennifer was a gracious host to our visiting scholars and faculty, liaising on travel issues and making guests feel at home. She supported our connections with our donors and subscribers, mentored our undergraduate workers, and processed graduate students' scholarships.

As she begins her new role with the IGS, CAS would like to thank her for her past work and wish her the best in her future endeavors. Thank you, Jennifer!
