Successful Dissertation Defense
It is our true pleasure to announce the successful dissertation defense of Kiley M Kost. She defended her thesis on Friday, December 14th.
The Topic of Kost’s dissertation is: "Telling Deep Time: Geologic Narration in German Fiction since 1945". She examines works of fiction from German, Austrian, and Swiss authors that narrate geologic processes of the deep past and explore what demands such geologic stories place on narrative strategies.
