Learning Abroad

Almost 80% of global studies students study abroad. This past academic year alone, global studies students studied abroad in 34 different countries.

Global studies students are strongly encouraged to fulfill their experiential learning requirement by studying abroad for six weeks or more. Because we view learning abroad as such an integral part of global studies, we work with students to maximize the number of study abroad credits that they can apply to their major. The global studies advising team works closely with the Learning Abroad Center and can help you find a program that will facilitate your timely graduation.

For information specific to learning abroad as a global studies student, see our Learning Abroad Center page. For general information on programs, advising, financial aid, scholarships, policies, and application materials, please visit the Learning Abroad Center.
