Video: Community Engaged Scholar Professor William P. Jones Talks about His Research

History Professor William Jones was named a 2022 President's Community-Engaged Scholar Award winner.

Jones’ community engagement in the area of US labor and African American history centers on the voices of workers and union activists to promote multiracial organizing that advances labor rights. In collaboration with the Harvard Labor and Work-life Project and the civil rights organization Community Change, Jones recently directed a project aimed at developing reforms that increased accountability for police without threatening the rights of other public employees.
