As violence escalates in Israel and Palestine, bloodshed, dehumanization, deep divisions, injustice, and fear have left many with the impression that there is no way forward. Yet, amidst this painful turmoil, a third path exists.
Combatants for Peace (CfP) was founded by Israeli and Palestinian former combatants who laid down their weapons to choose one another and seek a peaceful, equitable future side-by-side.
Committed to a third way, CfP prioritizes the needs, rights, and safety of all people living from the river to the sea. The movement is dedicated to nonviolently co-resisting the occupation, transforming oppression, and co-creating a future where all people live with dignity, equality, and liberty.
Join CfP activists and director/producer Steve Apkon for an eye-opening screening of the new documentary, “There is Another Way.” Hear the activists’ account of the realities on the ground and discover how we can collectively forge a just peace. RSVP here.
Co-sponsored by the Institute for Global Studies and CLA Student Board.
