Grants & Fellowships
We are proud to offer several different fellowship and award options for research scholars, both within and outside the University and metro area. We encourage students and scholars to get involved and become active researchers in the complex and dynamic study of immigration history by applying for the following grants and fellowships.
Our scholarships and graduate fellowships are open to both international and US citizen students who are interested in conducting research in specific portions of the IHRC Archives. Fellowship recipients are provided a stipend and help with some tuition and fees.
We co-sponsor the IHRC Archives' Grant-in-Aid Awards program. Awards are used to support are used to support a visits of five days or more and are open to scholars of all levels, including independent scholars.
