CourseShare: New Options for Graduate Students

CourseShare is now helping University of Minnesota graduate students meet their needs for language courses with a specific focus on reading and research. Here are the Spring 2021 classes available:

• LANG 1272: French for Reading Knowledge – a three-credit course from Rutgers University
• LANG 1271: Reading French for Research Purposes – a two-credit course from the University of Chicago (some prior experience with French is expected)
• LANG 1321: Spanish for Reading Knowledge – a three-credit course from Rutgers University

Similar classes for Italian and German are planned for Fall 2021. Registration in these courses is limited and in some cases by permission only. Graduate students are advised to consult with their academic advisor concerning whether the classes can be used to meet language certification requirements.
