Start a New Language with CourseShare
In the case of most less commonly taught languages, Spring is a time to continue a language sequence started in the Fall. However, for Spring 2019, there are now four LANG CourseShare courses open to true beginners in that language:
- LANG 1031: Beginning Danish I (new class, permission required)
- LANG 4171: Introduction to Aramaic I
- LANG 2201: Accelerated Basque I (permission required)
- LANG 5221 Introduction to Middle Egyptian & Hieroglyphics I
In addition, a new Korean e-School course is offered that does not require experience with Korean language:
- LANG 3505: Controversies in Contemporary Korea
Students and advisors who do not see the LANG CourseShare language or level they are looking for should email Stephanie as soon as possible at elsie@umn.edu to convey their interest. Please note that space is limited in all of these courses and that most have special start and end dates.
