Jones 30: New Video Recording Equipment

The video recording system in Jones 30 has just been upgraded, and is similar to Jones 35.

Now in both classrooms, instructors do the recording themselves using software installed on the instructor's computer. Video files are saved to Kaltura MediaSpace where they can be shared with students.

Jones 30 has one digital video camera attached to the far wall and two wireless microphones. The video camera is controlled by the presentation system touch panel instead of a remote.

Unlike in Jones 35, at this time the system in Jones 30 does not give you the option of choosing between two video cameras. More information about video recording in the classrooms is available on the Language Center website, including a  step-by-step guide for video recording in Jones 30.
