Student Tetsuya Takeno Wins Eric Stokes Song Contest and More

Tetsuya Takeno's (PhD, composition, student of Alex Lubet) composition Samsara won the Eric Stokes Song Contest, sponsored by Twin Cities new music ensemble Zeitgeist. Takeno's paper titled "cheating, lying, stealing by David Lang – Musical effect of permutation construction and its rhythmic structure" has been accepted for presentation the 2018 National Association of Composers/USA National Conference.
