Gabrielle Grier

Gabrielle Grier is chief executive officer of Juxtaposition Arts, a nonprofit youth art and design education center, gallery, shop, and artists’ studio space in North Minneapolis. For the past 15 years, she has built bridges with schools and organizations to implement systems change including strategic vision, programmatic development, and organizational culture that keep the voices of people at the center of the work. Recognized for developing authentic strategies for family and student partnership and engagement and in addition to her bachelor’s degree, Grier holds a master’s from the College of Education and Human Development in youth development and leadership. She has been awarded collaborative grants by the McKnight Foundation, Minnesota Comeback, Generation Next, and United Way.
