What do you miss about being on campus?

I miss just walking on campus with the sun on my face (sometimes it's snow, but that's okay) and always feeling like I have a purpose while I walking. Now I just stroll...

What are some ways your instructors, advisors, peers, and/or others at the U have supported and encouraged you during this time?

One of my instructors actually went to campus to show the class something in the studio over Zoom, which we were supposed to see in-person but now can't anymore. It's heartwarming to see how he cares about our learning experiences.

What are you doing to care for your physical and mental health these days? How are you staying connected with others?

I take longer walks now, and I cook and bake a lot more often. I can now sit down to eat slower and with the company of others, like you're supposed to, instead of trying to finish my lunch before class.

What advice or encouragement would you like to share with others?

Take it as it comes.

What have you learned about yourself through this experience?

I learned that time is always there; it's the matter of how I choose to prioritize my tasks. If I truly want to read more books, I will make time to read no matter what. And the only reason I stopped reading during the semester is just because reading wasn't that important to me, not that I was busy.
