My research program comprises two related lines of inquiry focused on social identity, health disparities, and well-being. The first line examines factors that protect against or contribute to adverse health outcomes, particularly among individuals from marginalized communities. The second line of inquiry is centered on the development and testing of interventions aimed at reducing disparities in health and education. My specific interests in this area include integrated psychological interventions for comorbid mental and physical health concerns, transdiagnostic applications of Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, and comprehensive support programs for STEM students from underrepresented backgrounds.
