Jessica Arend

Jessica Arend is a Ph.D. candidate in Psychology in the Clinical Science and Psychopathology Research program. Their research focuses on changes in cognition among people with first-episode psychosis and schizophrenia spectrum disorders. They are also interested in how navigating life with minority identities can influence vulnerability or resilience to mental health challenges. Through this work, Jessica aims to inform and improve psychosocial interventions for people living with serious mental illnesses.
