Vincent Doehr is a Ph.D. student specializing in international relations and political theory. He is broadly interested in the social construction of state interests in international relations, the role of international law in colonial and settler-colonial processes, and the impact of human rights discourses on anti-imperialist politics. More granularly, these interests coincide in his research on the construction of the question of Palestine as a human rights issue at the United Nations. His current projects also include a working paper on relational approaches to studying contestation over climate change. Along with his research, Vincent cares deeply about teaching and pedagogy, always encouraging students to uncover the international and the political in the everyday.
