Janeth is a second-year master’s student in Germanic Studies. She holds a Bachelor of Arts with a double major in French and German, with a strong emphasis on French and German literature, and a Master of Arts in German Literature from the University of Nigeria, Nsukka. Her master’s thesis, "Darstellungen von Afropolitismus in SchwarzRund’s Biskaya und Habila’s Reisen", employs New Historicism and interdisciplinary scholarship to examine how literary subjects negotiate mobility, belonging, and identity across transnational contexts. Her academic interests include Afro-German and contemporary literature, language acquisition, digital humanities and literary reinventions, particularly as they relate to intercultural competence and knowledge production.
