For the 2025-2026 academic year I will be a predoctoral fellow at the Institute for Security and Conflict Studies at the George Washington Elliott School of International Affairs.
My name is Andrew (Drew) Hogan and I am a Ph.D. candidate in political science at the University of Minnesota. I am interested in American foreign policy, grand strategy, rhetoric in foreign policy, religion and politics, and international security. In a previous life, I worked in government. I was drawn to Minnesota by the temperate weather and warm climate.
In the 2022-2023 academic year I was a Hans J. Morgenthau fellow at the Notre Dame International Security Center.
