I became Director of the Katherine E. Nash Gallery in 2011. Prior to that I was Director of Continuing Education at the Minneapolis College of Art and Design (2008 - 2011) and prior to that I was Director of Planning at Walker Art Center (1994 - 2008). After living in New York for ten years, I moved to Minnesota in 1994. I was born in Los Angeles.

I love working in a university art gallery because there are so many opportunities to collaborate with colleagues in different disciplines as well as with partners in the wider communities. These collaborations enable us to organize exhibitions, publications, and programs that are more meaningful, interesting and relevant to how art and life are interrelated.

Our exhibitions program in the Department of Art includes work made by students, faculty, staff, and artists from Minnesota, the United States, and around the world. We are committed to the 3 E's: Excellence, Experimentation, and Equity.
