Taylor Hvidsten is a PhD candidate in political science. Her fields are American politics and political methodology. Taylor's research interests include social media influencers and podcasts as sources of political information, how parasocial relationships to these sources shape political behavior, and what audiences think of political content from traditionally "nonpolitical" sources. More generally, she's interested in political communication, how media shapes political interest and attitudes, and experimental political science. 

Taylor is proud to be a Political Science Department Bake Off Champion.
