Return to Regis COVID-19 Updates

Information from the Department of Art
January 11, 2021

The Department of Art is following University of Minnesota COVID-19 Safety Protocols. While we are eager to welcome students back to the Regis Center for Art, we will only do so based on Safe Campus parameters and University of Minnesota guidance.

See some examples of how we've made in-person classes possible.

Spring Break

Please note that Regis Center for Art will have limited access the week of spring break (April 3-11, 2021), as well as the week after spring break, as a precautionary measure due to COVID-19. If you haven't already been informed, all arts classes will be taught remotely the week after spring break.

Undergraduates will not be able to work in Regis during this time, with the exception of graduating BFA students who will have access to the Quarter Gallery to install their show.

However, students can pick up work or submit work to be run in the XZY lab or DSB on the following days of both weeks.

XYZ Monday through Thursday 9:30 am to 4:00
DSB Tuesday and Wednesday 1:00 to 5:00 pm

MFA students will have regular access during this time.
