GoldPASS powered by Handshake is the University of Minnesota’s career services management system where you can post employment opportunities (internships, jobs, volunteer positions)—for free—as well as schedule on-campus interviews, create and publicize your own events (e.g., information sessions), register to participate in existing events (e.g., career fairs), and more.
If you’re like many employers who recruit college students and recent grads, you may be familiar with Handshake because you already have an established Handshake account that you use to recruit through another college or university career centers. If that’s the case, simply add the University of Minnesota to the list of schools you’re connected within Handshake. You’ll then be able to use GoldPASS to recruit here in the UMN's College of Liberal Arts as well.

It won’t take you long to discover just how powerful and helpful GoldPASS powered by Handshake is. But first, you need to get started.
Register and Create an Employer User Account on Handshake
You will need an employer user account on Handshake to log in and use GoldPASS as an employer.
If you’ve received an invite (via email) to use GoldPASS—from a CLA Career Services representative, perhaps, or from a colleague—simply follow the link in the email to take you to the Handshake employer account creation process.
If you’re signing up for GoldPASS without an email invite, you’ll need to create a new Handshake employer account. Learn how to create a new account on Handshake.
Once you’ve created a GoldPASS powered by Handshake employer account (if you didn’t already have one), completed your profile, and connected with the University of Minnesota, you’ll be able to take advantage of the many tools GoldPASS has to offer to you as an employer. Post Job, Internship, and/or Volunteer Openings—for FREE
All postings are reviewed for approval by University of Minnesota career services staff — this process typically takes about two business days.

Set Up and Schedule On-Campus Interviews
If you would like to interview University of Minnesota candidates on campus, you will need to request an interview schedule in GoldPASS. To host interviews with CLA, be sure to select “College of Liberal Arts (CLA) Career Services” as the career center. Learn step-by-step instructions and more information about on-campus interviews.
Create and Publicize Your Own Career Events
Whether you’re hosting a career event — such as information sessions, workshops, or even virtual events — on campus or in your own space, you can post the event in GoldPASS for students to see.
All event requests are reviewed for approval by the University of Minnesota career services staff — this process typically takes about two business days.
