Handshake is the University of Minnesota’s career services management system. On Handshake, at no cost to your organization, you can:
- Post jobs, internships, and other opportunities, and browse for qualified candidates at all five University of Minnesota campuses
- Register for career fairs and events
- Schedule information sessions
- Set up on-campus interviews
Getting Started on Handshake
You may already be familiar with the Handshake platform, which is used at many universities nationwide.
If you are already using Handshake, you can add the University of Minnesota to your schools. If you are new to Handshake, read on to learn how to get started.
Register and Create an Employer User Account on Handshake
You will need an employer user account on Handshake to log in. Get started on Handshake.

All postings are reviewed for approval by University of Minnesota career services staff — this process typically takes about two business days.
Set Up and Schedule On-Campus Interviews
If you would like to interview University of Minnesota candidates on campus, you will need to request an interview schedule in Handshake. Create and Publicize Your Own Career Events
