Congratulations to Professor Manuel Amador, named a 2020 Fellow of the Econometric Society. The Econometric Society is an international society for the advancement of economic theory in its relation to statistics and mathematics. Being elected a fellow is a prestigious honor, in recognition of an individual's professional achievements and contributions to the field. New fellows are elected annually by current fellows.
University of Minnesota alumni Jesús Fernández-Villaverde and Dirk Krueger are also in the 2020 class, and alumna Rosa Matzkin was elected Second Vice-President.
