Joined the program in Fall 2014 as an MA student, then started her PhD in Fall 2016.

My dissertation, “Gender Inclusive Language in French: Social and Pedagogical Encounters of Language and Gender Identity,” explores the practices and politics of gender inclusive language and incorporating it into the French language classroom. My research is interdisciplinary, drawing on French and Francophone studies, linguistics, gender studies, sociology, translation studies, race and ethnic studies, and second language acquisition.
