Archives on Screen, Twin Cities, are curating a new program for the 2024 “Il Cinema Ritrovato on Tour” festival, which will take place at The Main Cinema in Minneapolis from February 15-17, and close at the Heights Theater with a special screening accompanied by live music on February 18. “Il Cinema Ritrovato on Tour” will feature 9 screenings containing a total of 13 short and feature film highlights from Il Cinema Ritrovato, an annual international archival film festival that takes place in Bologna, Italy. Our event is created in partnership with the Cineteca di Bologna, the MSP Film Society, and the University of Minnesota.
