MCPS Director Alan C, Love (Philosophy) and Steven D. Stovitz (Family Medicine and Community Health) have a commentary published in the Los Angeles Times (May 7, 2020) on the evaluation of risk and inherent uncertainties in diagnosis and treatment that have been brought to light by the current coronavirus pandemic. These issues have always been behind the scenes, but now the public and medical personnel are faced with these concepts.
