Undergraduate Minor in Medieval Studies
The undergraduate minor is designed to encourage a broad interest in the Middle Ages. Many students are attracted to particular aspects of the medieval period either through academic courses or through films, games, outside reading, or travel. We hope to encourage an informed interest in the Middle Ages that will enrich you throughout your life. Our minor students come from a variety of departments, such as history; anthropology; German, Nordic, Slavic & Dutch; and English.
The undergraduate minor is 15 semester credits in courses at the 3xxx, 4xxx, and 5xxx level, chosen in consultation with the director of undergraduate studies. Students completing the undergraduate minor need to fill out a program form and return it to the director of undergraduate studies. In order for the minor to appear on his/her transcript, a student must also submit a copy of the completed form to his/her academic advisor.
