Professor Adriana Zabala Creates Role for Gerald Cohen's "Steal a Pencil for Me"

Adriana Zabala (voice) recently created the role of Manja Polak in the world premiere of Gerald Cohen's opera, Steal a Pencil for Me, based on the book and documentary about Inna, Jaap, and Manja Polak's experience at the Bergen-Belsen concentration camp. The Opera Colorado production was conducted by Ari Pelto and directed by Omer Ben Seadia, and took place at the Mizel Arts and Culture Center in Denver from January 25-30, 2018.
