Levi Wilson is a third-generation University of Minnesota - Twin Cities student from Richfield, Minnesota. Levi is a political science and sociology of law major whose areas of interest include international relations, foreign policy, and human rights law. When he's not working in the peer advisor office, Levi enjoys running, cooking, and studying in the Taylor Center.

What experience in politics do you have?

In high school, Levi was involved in advocacy groups for queer students, the environmental club, and a student board committee. While serving on the student board committee, Levi had the opportunity to provide school policy feedback to superintendents, communicate with classmates, and present proposals for change within the public school system to higher-ups.

What is your favorite resource on campus?

Levi's favorite resource on campus, although arguably biased, is the peer advising program. Prior to becoming a peer advisor, Levi took time to attend political science events and pay close attention to announcements that may assist him through undergrad. He feels that peer advisors help make college easier to navigate and provide assistance through people who best understand your current situation.

How can students benefit from meeting with you?

As a peer advisor for the political science department, Levi hopes to assist students in tailoring their academic experience to their future aspirations. He hopes to guide students by answering questions and providing resources that will help them as students of political science. Levi hopes that his current standing as an undergraduate student makes him not only approachable, but relatable, as well.

What conversations do you look forward to having with students as a peer advisor?

Levi is looking forward to getting to know students and discovering their interests. He is confident that these conversations will allow him to help students build schedules they are excited about. He also looks forward to meeting new people and hearing the variety of student perspectives that exist within the major.
