Paid Internships and Fellowships with the U.S. Department of State

Want to score a paid internship at an embassy overseas or at the State Department in Washington DC?

First year and sophomores: Join Diplomat in Residence Midwest Susan Falatko to learn about our paid spring, summer, and fall internships.

Upperclass students will also qualify if they are returning to school the term after their internship.

Juniors and seniors - thinking of grad school? Come hear about graduate school fellowships, which can provide a path into the Foreign Service.

This event is for undergraduates and anyone considering graduate school. Students in CLA are strongly encouraged to attend.

Registration requested on Handshake but not required. Email hirecla@umn.edu if you're having trouble registering. Space is limited to the first 40 students who attend. Please arrive early (or come as soon as you can).

This event is being held in Peik Gym https://campusmaps.umn.edu/peik-gymnasium NOTE: Enter via the doors closest to University Avenue (facing north). You will need your U card to gain access into the building.
