Advising

Dr. Peter Harle is the Department of Art History's academic advisor. Peter helps students officially declare an art history major or minor and instructs them about degree requirements, procedures, forms, and petitions. With a deep knowledge about the university and years of experience navigating its vast bureaucracy, he also assists with academic problems and can direct students to specific staff members and faculty as needed.

Dr. Jennifer Marshall is the department’s director of undergraduate studies. She is happy to meet with students to discuss course content, degree progress, writing in the discipline, career plans and graduate school applications. She is also adviser to the Art History Club.
