All students admitted to the PhD in AMCM are guaranteed five years of financial support through fellowships, research and teaching assistantships, or graduate instructorships. Please see available opportunities below.

Continued financial support is contingent upon timely and satisfactory progress in the program. For more information on program progress, please see the AMCM Graduate Handbook or the MAAS Graduate Handbook.

Pay Rate for Graduate Assistantships

The minimum pay rate for graduate assistantships in the College of Liberal Arts for the 2025-26 academic year is $28.94/hour.
