Leslie Morris is the author, most recently, of The Translated Jew: German Jewish Culture outside the Margins (Northwestern University Press, 2018), and the co-editor of a forthcoming special issue on Czernowitz of the Journal of Austrian Studies. She is currently writing a hybrid, experimental memoir about a buried Holocaust family history and a mysterious illness. As part of this new project, she and Professor MJ Maynes (History) initiated a multi-year IAS-funded collaborative project on Narrative/Medicine. For more information on Professor Morris's other recent accomplishments, see the Center for Jewish Studies' Fall 2020 Annual Magazine (page 17) and Fall 2019 Annual Magazine (page 17).
