Interplay: A Student Showcase

The Department of Art at the University of Minnesota is proud to present Interplay, whose title refers to opposing forces which still work in complementary ways. Works in the exhibition are seemingly antithetical to one another, yet carry themes tied to varieties of 'play'. Showcasing a range of mediums, densities of thought, and display of skill, these works toy with topics that resonate in an ever evolving technological age where play for children, and adults, seems to be something of the past.
