Jackie entered the PhD program in Sociology during the Fall of 2018. She holds a Master's in Sociology from the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee where she studied the influence of grandparents on children of depressed mothers using the Fragile Families and Child Well-being study. Before entering the program, Jackie taught a variety of Sociology courses at the community college and 4-year level. In her free time, she enjoys spending time with her husband and fur-baby.
