Schedule an appointment: To see full availability when looking to schedule an appointment, you will need to select each advisor's schedule separately.
The primary role of the undergraduate advising office is to guide you through the process of completing the requirements for a communication studies major or minor. We also encourage you to discuss questions or concerns about the major or minor with your communication studies advisor. In addition to helping you plan your major and minor requirements, the departmental advising office also provides information about internships, contests and scholarships, and other useful University services.
You may also find the CLA Student Services & Advising Office helpful with questions about College of Liberal Arts degree requirements, major and minor exploration, and commencement information.
Scheduling an Appointment
Schedule a 30-minute appointment with a communication studies advisor to discuss your progress with your major or minor, internship and scholarship opportunities and more. You may not, however, use these 30-minute appointments to declare your major. Instead, you must attend a major declaration session.
