Courses

Our courses offer students the ability to learn more than just the French or Italian language. Students gain valuable knowledge of the culture, society, media, and literature of their respective language of study.

Get a glimpse of the coursework and projects our students complete. Below, check out our slideshow from the spring 2018 "Exposition Universelle, Paris, 1889" featuring students in FREN 1501/1502: Gateways to French Studies, followed by Je t'aime, Minneapolis, a collection of "love stories" filmed in the Twin Cities area by students in FREN 3018: Oral Communication.

Then, take a look at all of our current course offerings!
