Graduate Handbook

The graduate student handbook is the key guide to the graduate program in our department. It contains the formal outline for the three PhD programs—sociocultural anthropology, archaeology, and biological anthropology—and describes the path to doctoral candidacy (ABD) for these degrees. The programs as described in chapters 3–5 govern the degree requirements for students entering the program after fall 2014. Students who entered the program prior to this date should consult the graduate handbook current at the date they were admitted to the program.

Additional chapters cover issues relevant to all students and potential students, including admissions, research and writing, IRB applications, degree completion, and student life.
