Do you have between 75-90 credits this semester? If so, it's time for your Junior/Senior Check-In! This one-on-one appointment with a psychology advisor will check your progress towards your major to make sure you're on the right track to graduate on time, connect you with career and grad school resources to begin making your post-college dreams a reality, and allow you a chance to give us feedback about your experiences as a psychology major. 5. Nutritious U Food Pantry - Rescheduled Dates

The Nutritious U Food Pantry is open the 2nd and 4th full week of the month during the semester. It's open on Tuesdays and Wednesdays from 12 - 5 pm and is located on the 1st floor of Memorial Union (Room 103A), across from the movie theater. Any student can visit the food pantry, no proof of need is required. Students choose from available food items when they show up.

Dr. Terresa Moses (she/her) is a proud Black queer woman dedicated to the liberation of Black and brown people through art and design. Terresa is an Assistant Professor of Graphic Design at the University of Minnesota’s College of Design (CDes) and the Director of the CDes Design Justice Network. She is also the Creative Director at Blackbird Revolt, a social justice-based design studio. This is a two-hour hands-on workshop. The goal is to help participants learn how to identify systems, artifacts, and experiences that perpetuate elements of racism and increase their capacity to re-imagine and develop forward-thinking design solutions. 10. Join Culture Corps Career STAR this spring

Culture Corps Career STAR is a 7-session career skill development workshop series for undergraduate international students. This program is designed to help develop the necessary skills needed to obtain internships, and jobs after graduation, and plan for graduate school. Expand your network and development through this program where you can connect and learn with international student peers, professionals in the community, and international alumni who have graduated. The Career STAR Program will meet 7 times in February and March, for 45-minute workshops. To achieve completion of the program we expect you will attend at least 5 out of 7 sessions. 12. ISSS looking for Group Cross-Cultural Discussion Facilitators

ISSS is recruiting members of the UMN community, including faculty, staff, and students, who can serve as facilitators for our Cross-Cultural Discussion Groups (CCDG). We would love to have you volunteer with us this upcoming spring! We're looking for facilitators who can commit 2-3 hours/week from February through April to plan and lead weekly discussions with their assigned groups of participants. It's a great opportunity to foster a fun and inclusive learning environment and help students from all over the world build a strong support system on campus. 13. APA Summer Undergraduate Psychology Experience in Research (SUPER) Fellowships

The American Psychological Association will offer up to 25 fellowships to support college students with a commitment to equity, diversity, and inclusion to conduct summer research in a psychological science laboratory. The purpose of this fellowship program is to promote access and equity among psychology undergraduates considering research as a career by expanding opportunities for laboratory training and mentorship to those who have not had the opportunity to access research experiences. Projects must be student-driven and supervised by a faculty member with sufficient resources to support the proposed work. APA will pay a stipend of $4,000 directly to the student and $1,000 directly to the student’s summer faculty host. Stipends are intended to defray personal expenses (e.g., housing, travel) and APA will not provide funds for study expenses, indirect costs, or overhead. Scholarships

15. University-Wide Scholarship Available - A. I. Johnson Scholarship

This scholarship was created to honor Alfred I. Johnson who was a Regent of the University and Speaker of the Minnesota House of Representatives. A.I. Johnson Scholarship awardees should expect to complete either a) 15 hours per week of off-campus public service internships during both the fall and spring semesters of the award year; or b) 400 total hours of public service internships between the summer to spring semesters of the award year. A single registration of POL 3080 is required. We recommend students complete POL 3080 during the first term of the award year, as completing the course concurrently with the start of an internship will help students to better analyze and understand future internship work. Applicants must show evidence of a strong interest in public affairs, with an intention to pursue a career or avocational activities in public affairs, including any kind of community volunteer activity, organizing to affect public policy, service on government advisory committees, and service in elective offices. Students are not expected to have an internship confirmed at the time of application but they must obtain a public service internship to receive the scholarship. Financial needs will be taken into consideration. This is typically a substantial scholarship! The Department of Political Science manages the A. I. Johnson Scholarship which is open to all enrolled undergraduate students at the University of Minnesota. The online A.I. Johnson scholarship application is available early spring semester for scholarships for the following school year. The application is now live (Google Form). The deadline to apply is 11:59 pm CST on Sunday, February 18th, 2024.

16. Psychology Engagement Award - Spring Application Still Open

Are you volunteering in your community this Spring? Or, participating in an unpaid internship here or abroad this semester? The Department of Psychology's Donor Awards for Psychology Undergraduate Engagement are available to support you! The purpose of these awards is to encourage and support psychology majors who engage in unpaid learning experiences beyond the University campus and classroom environments (i.e. unpaid internships, volunteer experiences, study abroad containing a psych-related internship, etc.). Up to three awards of $500 will be offered for Spring 2024. The application deadline is Wednesday, January 31st (12:00 pm CST). 17. *Credit* Undergraduate Directed Research Opportunity with Adolescent Suicide Risk and Borderline Personality Disorder Study

Dr. Karina Quevedo is currently looking for undergraduate students interested in gaining Directed Research credit in her lab in the Department of Psychiatry! The Health and Emotions in Adolescents Trajectories (HEAT) Laboratory is a neuroimaging lab conducting several studies to better understand suicidality, depression, BPD, and trauma. In addition, the HEAT Laboratory focuses on the brain function of adolescents with and without suicidal ideation and adults with BPD while they complete fMRI tasks, such as neurofeedback, designed to examine emotion regulation and cognition as a potential treatment for suicidality & BPD. Who We Want: We are currently in the data entry phase of the study. Students will be assisting in entering a high volume of data from paper format onto an online database while maintaining accuracy. We are looking for detail-oriented, organized students with basic computer skills. Students should be in good academic standing, and be able to commit 5-12 hours a week of data entry, in person. We are interested in students who can begin early Spring Semester 2024. Committed and dedicated student volunteers will have the opportunity to expand their role within the lab including being a co-author on scientific papers. 20. Work Study Research Assistant

We are currently seeking a motivated work-study research assistant student, preferably sophomores or juniors, to join Dr. C. Sophia Albott’s lab. Dr. Albott's research focuses on developing interventions for trauma and stress-related disorders, with studies conducted at the Minneapolis VA Medical Center. As a research assistant, you will be involved in various tasks, including medical chart reviews, manuscript editing, literature reviews, supporting Meta-Analysis writing, submitting manuscripts to journals, updating the website, and creating tables, graphs, and other graphics. 21. Job Opening for Biochemistry/Neuroscience *Full-Time* Research Assistant at Virginia Tech

A full-time research assistant is being sought to support multiple NIH-funded projects in the labs of Dr. Pearl Chiu (lab information) and Dr. Brooks King-Casas (lab information) at the Fralin Biomedical Research Institute at Virginia Tech Carilion in Roanoke, Virginia. Projects in the labs are highly interdisciplinary and combine methods from experimental and clinical psychology, neuroscience, and behavioral economics with functional neuroimaging and electrochemistry to investigate decision-making in healthy and clinical populations. The research technician will be responsible for in-vitro data collection to inform in-vivo models of human neurochemistry. Training will be provided for all aspects of the job. 22. Clinical Research Assistant - Pediatric Anxiety Research Center at Bradley Hospital

PARC is looking for 2-5 full-time clinical research assistants to support several federally-funded research projects. These projects include 1) a clinical trial of TMS with exposure therapy for youth and young adults with OCD (NExT trial), 2) a study using AI to automate quality measurement using harmonized data from prior clinical trials, 3) a comparative effectiveness trial of two service models for exposure therapy in youth with anxiety/OCD (IMPACT trial), and 4) a multi-method study of sleep patterns in youth with anxiety and related disorders (REST study). All positions include a combination of research and clinical assessment components. Commitment to at least two years in a position is preferred. This is an in-person position with some limited flexibility for working from home. The position requires relocation/ability to commute to Bradley Hospital in East Providence, RI. 23. Research Coordinator Positions at Drexel University WELL Center

Applicants are being sought for several full-time research coordinator positions in the Drexel University Center for Weight, Eating, and Lifestyle Science (WELL Center). The start date for the positions is Summer 2024. The positions are under the direction of Drs. Evan Forman, Meghan Butryn, Adrienne Juarascio, and Erica LaFata. The research coordination roles include overall coordination of all study elements; implementing an advertisement/recruitment plan; refining and implementing the assessment protocol; scheduling and conducting participant screening and clinical assessments; managing data and databases; maintaining contact and approvals with NIH and IRB; and collecting data with wearable sensors. 24. Mental Health Practitioner Positions

This is a great opportunity for those with majors/minors in Psychology Developmental Psychology or related fields to get first-hand experience working under a Board Certified Behavior Analyst. 26. 2-Year Research Assistant Position in Pediatric Sleep at Brown Medical School

We are currently hiring for a 2-year postbaccalaureate Research Assistant position for our Sleep and Circadian Methods Research Core at Bradley Hospital / Brown University's Alpert Medical School in Providence, Rhode Island. The Core RA is responsible for leveraging numerous methodologies to assist the investigators and projects funded by our NIH Center for Biomedical Research Excellence (COBRE). Current and recent scientific themes include the measurement of sleep and circadian rhythms in pediatric anxiety, adolescents who experience psychosis, teens involved in the justice system, autism, epigenetics, and more. These projects may involve in-person assessments, laboratory and field monitoring, wearable technologies to track sleep, biometrics, and brain activity, saliva sampling, and cognitive testing.
