1. Getting Started with Psychology Research: Info Session Workshop

3. Psychology Undergraduate Town Hall

The Psychology Department is hosting the Spring 22 Town Hall for undergraduate students. The goal of these town halls is to connect students directly with the Department of Psychology leadership. If you are unable to attend this event, you can leave comments/questions in the form; feedback will be shared anonymously at the Town Hall. 6. Intro to Designing Conference Posters

7. Health Professional School Expo

The Health Professional School Expo will take place in a virtual format on Wednesday, March 30th, 2022! The Health Professional School Expo will showcase health professional degree programs together from around the country. Their admissions representatives will be available to meet with pre-health students from the University of Minnesota. This event features health professional schools and colleges around the U.S, representing a variety of health degree programs, such as medicine, pharmacy, physicians assistant, public health, optometry, etc. This event will be hosted in Handshake. Student registration is open now. A list of participating schools is available on the Handshake event page. 8. CLA General Scholarships

CLA general scholarship awards range from $2,000 to $16,000 per year, for one to three years starting with the 2022-23 academic year. The Psychology Mortensen Scholarships (Academic and Study Abroad) are included in this application process! Be sure to get started on your applications and apply by Monday, April 4, 2022, at 9:00 am CST. Learning Abroad Scholarship applications are due Wednesday, April 6, 2022, at 9:00 am CSTApply online.

9. Spring Undergraduate Research Symposium

The Undergraduate Research Symposium is an annual research fair held every Spring that gives all undergraduate researchers from all University of Minnesota campuses a chance to share their research, scholarly, and creative projects with the University community. Students who wish to present at the Undergraduate Research Symposium can register with the link below. Please review the details under "Info for Presenters" before you register. The registration form will close on March 25.

10. Winchell Undergraduate Research Symposium & MAS Annual Meeting

Preparing undergraduates to enter STEM fields by providing a forum for students to showcase their scientific research, receive comments from professional scientists and peers, and network with professionals in the fields they aspire to enter. The symposium includes a keynote lecture, student presentations, breakout sessions, and the MAS Annual Meeting. All undergraduate students in MN and nearby states engaged in original research are welcome to attend. Each attendee must register individually. Interested in presenting? Proposals are due March 27th. If you're interested in attending, RSVP by March 27th for early bird. Final registrations are due April 9th.

11. The 2022 Minnesota Undergraduate Psychology Conference at Macalester College

MUPC is the oldest undergraduate psychology conference in the United States. The conference provides a forum for the presentation of original research, applications, and conceptual papers by undergraduates in psychology from around the state and surrounding areas. Planning to attend MUPC? Anyone who plans to attend (Students, Staff, or Faculty) must register using this form. This year, registration is open from March 04, 2022, to April 11, 2022. Should MUPC 2022 need to switch from in-person to online, Macalester College will announce that your registration using this form has now changed to an online event (still to be held on April 30, 2022). If this occurs, know also that the notification will be made well in advance, and no later than April 8, 2022.

12. *Credit or Volunteer* RA Position with a Longitudinal Study of Resilience in Military Service Members

The Advancing Research on Mechanisms of Resilience (ARMOR) Project, under the direction of Dr. Melissa Polusny at the Minneapolis VA Health Care System, is looking for research assistants for the 2021-2022 school year and beyond! The current longitudinal study examines processes contributing to resilience in military personnel. Research assistants who join the ARMOR Project will receive extensive training and gain hands-on experience conducting a large cohort study that utilizes evidence-based longitudinal tracking and survey methods. This is a volunteer position and requires a minimum of 10-12 hours per week commitment onsite at the Minneapolis VA and attendance at our in-person weekly lab meeting. Students accepted to the lab can apply to receive research credit for the course PSY 4993 after committing 2-3 months as a volunteer. Preference will be given to students who have a minimum GPA of 3.5, are available year-round, and are able to make a multiple-semester commitment. Veterans or those with experience working with veterans or the military may be given priority. 14. Reset. Relax. Restore. with RecWell

NEW during the 2022 Spring semester through RecWell, Reset. Relax. Restore. provides students with pathways to build skills for managing mental health, whether they want to engage in-person or via online classes. Students can choose to explore one or more programs, ranging from drop-in meditation classes to a weekend workshop, and five-week courses. Completed together or sampled separately, each component of Reset. Relax. Restore. can shape the habits and behaviors that impact one’s wellbeing. Students are welcome to sample one or more program offerings.

16. Behavioral Technician - Central Care Service Inc.

Central Care Service Inc. (located on 3355 Hiawatha Ave. Minneapolis, MN) is hiring Behavior Technicians! This is a great opportunity for those with majors/minors in Developmental Psychology or related fields to get first-hand experience working under a Board Certified Behavior Analyst. No previous experience or training is required, as you will be trained after hire. Behavior Technicians work one-on-one with children on the autism spectrum, using ABA therapy to help clients reach their individual goals. Goals include skills such as social communication, motor skills, etc. Starting pay is $18-20/hour, and preference is given to those who can work about 20 hours per week. 17. Clinical Research Associate I - Warren Neuroscience Lab at the University of Nebraska Medical Center

The Warren Neuroscience Lab at the University of Nebraska Medical Center is currently accepting applications for a clinical research associate. The research associate will work with the principal investigator (PI) and the research team to develop, implement, coordinate, and conduct scholarly research projects. Dr. David E. Warren's lab focuses on novel investigations of memory and cognitive functions in neurological, medical, and healthy aging populations using neuropsychological, neuroimaging, and eye-tracking methods. The Minnesota Department of Human Services has paid internship opportunities for college students to explore a rewarding career in public service. Our agency helps provide essential services to Minnesota’s most vulnerable residents. Working with many groups and people to ensure that Minnesota seniors, people with disabilities, children, and others meet their basic needs and have the opportunity to reach their full potential. The Executive Pathways Internship Program focuses on a diverse workforce by developing the talents of students as they prepare for professional employment. Graduate and undergraduate students majoring in public policy, statistics, psychology, social work, law, public health, sociology, and other human services-related fields are encouraged to apply and have the opportunity to learn how public policy is developed and implemented in a large and complex government organization. 20. Research Assistant Position Available at the Minneapolis VA

The Technology and Research Applications in Neuromodulation (TRAIN Lab) at the Minneapolis VA is looking for a full-time, salaried research assistant. The research assistant would assist on several studies under the direction of Dr. Kelvin Lim, M.D. Current studies involve assessment of magnetic resonance imaging (MRI), transcranial magnetic stimulation (TMS), transcranial direct current stimulation (tDCS), and electroencephalography (EEG). Patient populations include Veterans with brain injury, depression, substance use, and obesity. Research assistant responsibilities will include conducting medical record reviews, recruiting study subjects, consenting and conducting study assessments, entering and analyzing data, and other tasks as needed. Qualified candidates must have a bachelor's degree by spring 2022, be extremely detail-oriented, able to work independently and handle shifting priorities, as well as possess strong communication (written and oral) skills. Successful candidates must have a valid SSN (required to work on-site at the VA). 21. Student Interviewers For Social Science Research

Looking for experience in social science research? The Office of Measurement Services is now hiring Student Interviewers to help with data collection. 22. Research Assistant - Hwang Lab at the University of Iowa

The Hwang Lab at the University of Iowa is seeking a full-time researcher to assist our human cognitive neuroscience research projects. The research assistant is expected to execute cognitive neuroscience research protocols under the direction of the lab director and assist EEG/fMRI studies on cognitive control functions. 23. Advanced Clerical Support - Neuropsychology

The Adult Neuropsychology Division of the Department of Rehabilitation Medicine seeks undergraduate assistance to digitize patient testing files and build a new research database. Students will have the opportunity to learn about the clinical assessments that neuropsychologists use and will observe how brain diseases such as dementia and Parkinson's Disease affect cognitive functioning. We are in the beginning stages of building a patient database for future research and students will be instrumental in getting data into the system to move projects forward. Orientation to detail is a must! Students will also have the opportunity to assist with an upcoming high-profile neuropsychology conference in September 2022.
